When is direct “indirect”?
At lovebarristers, you know that you will speak to your barrister, direct. It’s what direct access was designed for, after all.
But deregulation has also brought with it many websites which act as referral networks. Many do not share the same premises as “their” barristers nor are they “chambers” – and some don’t have a physical presence. Nothing wrong with that – but you are paying for the intermediary.
lovebarristers can’t see the point of direct access which is not… well, direct!
